Dry Bulk Broking

The dry bulk market includes Iron ore, Coal, Grains, Steel, Cement, Fertilizers, Petcoke, Agricultural products, non-ferrous minerals and metals, collectively amounting to more than 2.6 billion tonnes of cargo being moved annually. Iron ore, Coal and Grain are the largest contributors, accounting for more than half of the trade between them.
Iron ore is shipped in Capesize vessels (over 100,000 dwt), the principal trades being from Brazil, Australia and India and to a smaller extent South Africa.
The traditional exporting countries for Coal are Australia, South Africa, Colombia, the USA, China and Russia, though in recent years Indonesia has become one of the biggest supplier. Coal is shipped mainly in Panamax vessels (60,000-80000dwt) but in the case of the Baltic and the Black Sea, due to draught restrictions in ports it is transported in Handymax (40,000-60,000dwt) or Handysize (10,000-40,000dwt) vessels.
Traditionally the producers of coarse Grains and Fertilizers are USA, Latin America and Australia but there are many smaller suppliers. Seaborne trade - always subject to weather conditions and likely to be affected by global warming - is mainly in Panamax and Handymax and, in smaller ports, Handysize.
Minor bulks are shipped worldwide in Panamax, Handymax and Handysize vessels, depending on the consignments, port limitations and routes.

Operations

Our operation teams works along with the brokers in tandem to come up with efficient and cost effective shipping solutions. The Operations team's main job responsibilities include:

• Responsible for overall post fixture related matters. Supervising on behalf of principals for execution & completion of a smooth Fixture and closely monitoring the Operational performance of each vessel.
• Maintaining a proper link & co-ordination between Shippers/ Charterers and Port agents & Owners.
• Checking on vessel itineraries; ensuring voyage instructions have been received and Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) notices are given on regular basis. Ensuring that Charterer's Letter of Indemnity (LOI) is submitted, in case original Bills of Lading (B/L) are not available at the discharge port.
• Preparing Charter Parties, Laytime calculations, verifying and approve Charter Hire Statements/Freight Invoices, Demurrage claims, Freight remittance.
• Following up Charter Hire / Freight Invoices and claims according to the Charter Party and ensuring timely payment of Hire/Freight amounts according to the agreed Charter Party terms and ensuring that the file is fully settled.
• Updating the Chartering team of any difficulties / eventualities in case they arise during the vessel voyage.

Fertilizers

As we have a good network of fertilizer producers and end users, we can supply premium quality fertilizers like Urea, Mop, Dap, Map etc. at competitive prices.

Coal

We are capable of supplying Thermal, Steam and Coking Coal in 5800 kcal, 6300 kcal and 7500 kcal grade. Our supplies are directly from the Mines. the same is used for Power Generation, Cement and Steel Plants.

Iron Ore

We have close contacts with people engaged in Iron ore mining. We can supply Iron Ore Grade, Fe 58% and Fe 63% of Indian and Indonesian origin.

Salt

Salt is one of the most important products which is used in many industries and we can supply the same as well. We are in touch with leading salt producers who manufacture premium quality industrial salt.

Cement and Clinker

Cement from major producers is procured and moved from China, Taiwan, India and ports in Thailand to Arabian/ Persian Gulf/ West Africa and South East Asia. Bulk/ Bagged Cement Clinker and their derivatives are readily available as and when required.
